Who We Are

Launched in 2004, The Well is a non-denominational church, associated with ARC, located in Geneva, Illinois. We have a heart for serving and creating community in the Fox River Valley.

This mission statement is the heart of who we are, what we do, and why we believe we exist. Our goal is to simply love because Christ loves us, and it’s that love that brings people closer to Him.

Our Core Values

We have five basic statements that structure the way that we live together. They guide our decisions and everything we do at The Well.

1. Christ is the first, middle, and end of everything we do.

2. Love is a behavior we choose to walk in.

3. Life is a lesson, learn it well.

4. In everything, give thanks.

5. Have Fun!

Our Beliefs

We believe that we should begin with the statement of faith that has held the church together for more than a thousand years.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
